Vinh Phuc attracts over 68.2 million USD in FDI capital

Enhancing promotional efforts through various channels, actively supporting and resolving difficulties for investors, along with advantages in geographical location and infrastructure, foreign businesses continue to choose Vinh Phuc as a reliable investment destination.

From December 15, 2023, to January 15, 2024, the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board has issued new investment registration certificates for 02 FDI projects with registered capital of USD 16.8 million; issued investment registration adjustment certificates for 05 FDI projects with additional registered capital of USD 51.41 million. The total newly registered and additional investment capital of FDI projects is USD 68.21 million, reaching 131% compared to the same period and 17% compared to the 2024 plan.

As of January 15, 2024, the number of effective FDI projects in industrial parks is 363 projects with a total investment capital of USD 6,440.34 million. Additionally, there are 111 domestic investment projects with a total investment capital of VND 32,988.14 billion.

In the coming time, the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board will continue to collaborate with investors and relevant agencies to accelerate compensation, land clearance for investment in completing infrastructure for industrial parks that are operational, such as Khai Quang, Binh Xuyen, Ba Thien II, Tam Duong II – zone A, Nam Binh Xuyen, as well as newly established industrial parks such as Ba Thien – Subzone I, Son Loi, Song Lo I, Song Lo II, Tam Duong I – zone 2, Thai Hoa – Lien Son – Lien Hoa zone 2 (phase 1), Nam Binh Xuyen.

Furthermore, proactive coordination, resolving issues for investors; utilizing online public services, applying digital transformation in business processes; enhancing consultancy, support for investors, businesses in completing documentation, procedures. Simultaneously reviewing the progress of implementation, urging projects to follow committed schedules; strengthening labor management, environmental management, inspection, supervision, coordination with functional agencies in managing activities within industrial parks as assigned tasks.

With confidence in the solutions of the Industrial Parks Management Board as well as the close attention of provincial leaders, the active involvement of departments, boards, and sectors, in 2024, Vinh Phuc will attract more ‘eagles’ to nest, thereby achieving and surpassing the assigned targets.
